Feb. 13th is a district wide testing day. The Beaverton School District has paid for all students to take a version of the ACT. All 9th through 11th graders will take a form of the ACT and many seniors are also registered to take the ACT. Those seniors who are not testing have several options for off-campus activities. Students will be released at 1:00. Lunch will be provided before they leave school. Teachers are currently being trained how to administer the test.

Facilities Update:
Our application for an equity fund grant was not accepted. We had planned to improve the girl’s locker room and install white boards in all classrooms. We are still searching for funding from other sources.

Work began during winter break on the auditorium sound system. It will be completed by mid-February in time for the play.

The Softball/Baseball stadium is finished. The softball scoreboard is being moved and they are working on some drainage issues with the baseball stadium that will be taken care of by the end of January so the field will be ready for play by the end of February.

They have constructed an autolift in the shop which will be ready for use as soon as they we have an operational meeting and the teachers are trained in its use.
